Piotr Okurowski, who has been leading DHL Supply Chain in Slovakian business as Managing Director for the last 4 years will be taking on a new professional opportunity outside the DHL Group. Piotr has successfully served DHL Supply Chain in several countries in different positions for the last 15 years, initially in Poland as Operations Director then leading Polish business as Managing Director and finally Managing Director for Slovakia since August 2020. Piotr has significantly contributed to the company's growth by winning strategic customers while building strong customer relationships with strong and experienced country team in Slovakia.

In order to assure full continuation of successful journey to further stimulate company growth in Slovakia, DHL Supply Chain has appointed Peter Okenka as the new Managing Director as of August 1st 2024.

Peter Okenka (42) has been working at DHL since 2016. He comes to Slovakia from DHL Supply Chain Czech Republic where as the Regional Operations Director significantly contributed to the development of new business and the successful implementation of Tchibo (2020), Adidas (2022) and Goodyear (2024) operations. Under his leadership, DHL Supply Chain Cheb has become one of the largest and most successful DSC campuses in Central and Eastern Europe. He was graduated from the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra, where he received a Master´s degree in political science.
