Interest in umbrellas and sunshades is increasing. The Germans in Trenčín will expand their production

Ten years ago, a German manufacturer of sunshades, sunshades, awnings and sun sails moved all its production and development to Nová Dubnica in Považie. Now he wants to be even bigger in Slovakia. He wants to build a new production facility on the outskirts of Trenčín. It will cost one and a half million euros and will also hire twenty new workers.

Nemecký výrobca slnečníkov, tienidiel, markíz i slnečných plachiet už pred desiatimi rokmi presunul celú svoju výrobu i vývoj do Novej Dubnice na Považí. Teraz chce byť na Slovensku ešte väčší. Nový produkčný areál chce vybudovať na okraji Trenčína. Bude stať jeden a pol milióna eur a prijme do neho aj dvadsiatku nových pracovníkov.

Investment in development together with the cost of building the production line should reach EUR 100 million.

The third Saturday in June had a referendum attribute in the village of Visolaje. The locals expressed their opinion on the planned expansion of the industrial park in Zámlynie. Log Property joint stock company wants to build a finished warehouse for the rubber company Continental Matador Rubber. As the land in its ownership is not enough for this business plan, the company has also shown interest in the neighboring land. However, the expansion of the industrial zone was subject to changes in the land use plan. In March, a group of citizens began addressing residents in Visolaje with a petition against the extension of the land use plan and against the construction of a logistics center.
