CTP builds more halls in Prešov, announcing the arrival of new tenants to the site

After the recently announced construction in Trnava, where CTP plans to close the 32-hectare CTPark II near Stellantis, one of the largest industrial real estate managers in Europe is coming up with another investment in its portfolio in eastern Slovakia. In CTPark Prešov South, it will build two halls with an area of 60,000 m2. Their construction will take place in two phases.

Prologis: Supply chains are facing a permanent transformation

Prologis Research, Prologis' research department, expects that the current market instability will require a change in the way stocks are stored. Until the pandemic, global supply chains relied on a "just-in-time" model, for which the smooth flow of goods is key. However, the pandemic and other factors (such as climate change, geopolitics and labor market tensions) have disrupted this smooth flow and caused commodity shortages, instability and higher costs.

Cargo-partner continues to increase storage capacity in Slovakia

The logistics center of the C&A fashion concern, which should open in the spring of next year in Trnava, will supply the business region of five countries.

P3 builds a new hall near Lozorno

The logistics park P3 Bratislava D2 will be expanded by the summer of 2022 with a new hall DC7B with an area of 21,000 m2, which represents the expansion of hall DC7. "We plan to officially approve the hall at the beginning of July next year, but we started construction in September. Compared to the original plans, this is a delay of six months due to a pandemic and a lack of building materials, "says Peter Jánoši, CEO of P3 Logistic Parks. The new hall is currently being prepared by the largest developer and lessor of logistics properties in Slovakia for the planned expansion plans of the long-term tenant IHLE, but also as speculative construction with potential clients.

Vlčie hrdlo Business Park in Bratislava changes owners

The Vlčie hrdlo Business Park complex in Bratislava, which offers rental of warehouse space, offices and halls, has a new owner. It was purchased by the Czechoslovak development company Contera from the investment group Natland, which has managed the former brownfield with an area of 33,420 m2 since 2020. It wants to continue the modernization and revitalization of the area and build a concept of the so-called small business units.

Geis SK: New branch in Triblavin

Like the entire Geis group, Geis SK is still strong and growing. Therefore, at the end of the year, the current Slovak branch will move from Senec to new premises in the logistics VGP Park Bratislava. It is located in the Triblavina area, just a few minutes from Bratislava.
