Czech asset manager BH Securities, through its BHS Real Estate Fund, is investing in a new logistics park near Bratislava in cooperation with Panattoni.
The volume of real estate investments in Slovakia this year exceeded 470 million euros, which represents a year-on-year increase of 33 percent. Most was invested in retail. This follows from a press release from the global real estate consulting company CBRE.
The VoloDrone cargo drone successfully passed the first stress test in simulated operation at its presentation at the International Aviation Conference in Berlin. DB Schenker and Volocopter have been working on its commissioning together with the Fraunhofer Institute since 2019, and this year the first operational plan was created. The drone will make it possible to transport cargo to hard-to-reach places and offer customers fast and emission-free transport.

The Bratislava plant draws the largest volume of water from its own wells and returns purified water in the quality of aquatic ecosystems back to nature. Wastewater treatment takes place in a top modernized corporate wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). At the same time, the company is working within the framework of Zero Impact Factory's sustainable strategy to ensure that the operation of the WWTP is also carbon neutral in the future.
The European Real Estate Brand Institute has awarded P3 Logistic Parks twice this year in a thirteen-year study of real estate brand value. Compared to last year, this long-term owner and developer of logistics real estate has made the greatest progress in terms of brand strength in all categories and countries, thus receiving the award "Strongest Brand Growth". In addition, P3 has been named the Best Logistics Developer in Southern Europe for the third time in a row.
The flying AirCar car landed at Bratislava International Airport for the first time. The prototype, which has already completed almost 50 hours of flight tests, completed approximately 80 kilometers from the airport in Nitra at a cruising speed of 170 kilometers per hour without any problems. The designer and head of the entire project, Štefan Klein, informed about it on Monday.
Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR), the international market leader in autonomous mobile robots (AMR), introduces the MiR250 Hook, a unique AMR solution for automated in-house truck transport. MiR Hook 250 is an add-on module for the fastest and most compact MiR250 robot with simple and efficient navigation in environments with a high concentration of people. The new and patented robotic towing device is an updated version of the MiR Hook from 2016. The robustness and accuracy of the new device corresponds to the rapid product development that has since taken place at this Danish mobile robot manufacturer.
At the end of 2021, a new member will join the logistics family in southern Slovakia. The Austrian developer Go Asset completed the load-bearing structure of a modern hall with more than 55,000 square meters in Kostolné Kračany near Dunajská Streda.
