Completion of the section D1 Lietavská Lúčka - Dubná Skala with the Višňové tunnel will start on April 23

The completion of the D1 Lietavská Lúčka - Dubná Skala motorway section, including the Višňová tunnel worth more than EUR 254.8 million, will begin on Friday 23 April. The National Motorway Company (NDS) received an official notification from the Public Procurement Office, which completed the inspection before signing the contract. In practice, according to the Minister of Transport Andrej Doležal, this means that a contract with a new contractor is signed in his presence on Friday, the construction site is handed over and construction begins.

A new developer will complete the Žilina industrial park near the airport

CTP, a developer of industrial real estate based in the Netherlands, announces the acquisition of an industrial park in Žilina. The park is located in a strategic location near Žilina Airport. Upon completion, CTPark Žilina Airport will provide a leasable space of 145,000 square meters. CTP plans to invest 200 million euros in Slovakia in the next two years in order to more than double its current Slovak portfolio of 460,000 square meters in 12 locations. The company informed about it on Tuesday.
