The warehouse of the Slovak distributor of local and international brands of salty snacks (snacks) is located in the western part of Slovakia, specifically in the western part of the city of Trenčín. Thanks to its convenient location, the property benefits primarily from the connection to the D1 highway, which connects Bratislava with Žilina. The bus stop is located approx. 300 m on foot from the administrative part of the complex.
The former warehouse of Intersnack offers approximately 6,300 m2 of industrial, storage and office space within the premises, which cumulatively offers 17,000 m2 of space.
The property in question was used by the owner to store and distribute a wide portfolio of salty snacks from internationally recognized brands such as Chio, POM-BÄR or Nutline, supplemented by popular local products from Slovakia or Bohemia brands.
"With the growth of the product portfolio and activities of our company, which has been operating on the local and international market for over 30 years, a very natural need arose to expand and modernize our storage units in Slovakia. The warehouse in Trenčín was our headquarters for a long time, but unfortunately its current equipment no longer meets the parameters necessary for daily operations and activities associated with large-scale distribution of our products. As soon as the iO team and I were able to find new modern and suitable warehouses within the Sihoť Park in Trenčín, we are ready to leave our old site and find a new owner for it," says Martin Poliak, Supply Chain Manager at Intersnack.
The area also has the aforementioned administrative building, which underwent extensive renovation in 2019. It is directly connected to the storage part of the complex and together with the kitchen, common areas and terrace are located on the ground floor and first floor of the warehouse.
"This brownfield offers an ideal solution for the establishment of various types of storage, distribution, logistics, or light industrial production. Another indisputable advantage is the location, as the site is located in western Slovakia with a convenient connection to the strategic D1 highway," adds Tomáš Kulacs from the iO Partners company, which mediated the relocation of Intersnack to new warehouses within the Sihoť park and also exclusively represents the company in the sale of the site in Trenčín.
