Prologis has added a major fresh fruit and vegetable distributor to its Slovak customer portfolio. The distributor has leased 5,400 m2 of warehouse space at Prologis Park Bratislava, which will serve as a critical hub for storing and transporting fresh fruit and vegetables to retail outlets across Slovakia.

The company’s warehouse operations require precise temperature-controlled zones to ensure the freshness of their products. Prologis successfully delivered technical modifications to accommodate these needs, demonstrating its ability to tailor warehouse space to individual customer requirements.

“At Prologis, we understand that every business has unique operational requirements. We pride ourselves on providing solutions that meet our customers’ needs, and this distributor’s warehouse is proof of that,” said Jakub Randa, Leasing Manager at Prologis. “Our modern facilities allow for the implementation of multiple zones, ensuring that fresh produce remains in perfect condition throughout the supply chain.”

Prologis Park Bratislava is an ideal location for logistics and distribution operations, as it is located on the D1 highway, just 20 km from Bratislava and 16 km from the airport. The warehouses at Prologis Park Bratislava are equipped with Smart Metering, electric vehicle charging stations, eight entrance gates, rest areas and advanced security.
