“This acquisition provides a unique opportunity to strengthen P3’s presence in key locations in Slovakia,” says Peter Jánoši, Director of P3 Logistic Parks for Slovakia and the Czech Republic. It will add a 26,573 m2 building with several renowned long-term tenants to its portfolio.
The transaction also included a plot of land in the neighborhood ready for further development. “Not only the excellent location of the logistics park near Nové Mesto nad Váhom, but also the potential for its further growth, in line with our development strategy, open up further opportunities for us to consolidate our position on the Slovak market,” he adds.
iO Partners participated in the transaction as the sole representative of the seller. “We are proud to have been able to broker this transaction, which reflects the continuing interest in logistics real estate in Slovakia and the dynamics of the market. The successful outcome of this transaction confirms the strength of our team and our ability to find suitable investors for attractive properties,” says Róbert Cesnek, Senior Investment Analyst at iO Partners.
The P3 Nové Mesto nad Váhom logistics park is located in the immediate vicinity of the D1 highway. It is only 800 meters from the major transport artery that connects the industrial area of Považie with the capital and the east of the country. It is three kilometers to Nové Mesto nad Váhom, and Bratislava can be reached within an hour. The location also has good connections to the nearby Czech Republic.
The acquisition includes an existing modern logistics and production hall. However, P3 Logistic Parks also became the owner of the adjacent land, for which all construction permits have been issued and are valid. Another hall with an area of 26,275 m2 should be built on it.
The most important tenants of the acquired park include Agel, Euro Pool, Hella, Pilous Packaging and ZF.
P3 is one of the most important owners and developers of industrial real estate. It has been building and investing in Europe for more than two decades. The company, headquartered in Prague, is the market number two in Slovakia. In addition to the newly acquired park in Nové Mesto nad Váhom, its portfolio also includes the parks P3 Bratislava D2, P3 Bratislava Airport, P3 Senec, P3 Cargo, P3 Žilina and P3 Košice.
