The company has 15 modern CTParks in locations in Slovakia and is one of the largest developers of industrial real estate in continental Europe. The priority and main philosophy in construction are sustainable principles that can ensure energy-efficient operation of buildings.
"A considerate approach to the environment is one of the priorities of our company. I can state that we manage to effectively apply green solutions in practice, which means that they do not remain only at the theoretical level. I am therefore convinced that we will be an active member and bring many ideas and solutions to the professional discussion," stated Peter Janko, Head of Property for CTP Slovakia.
CTP recently completed the construction of 4 photovoltaic power plants, which will cover approximately 40% of the own consumption of the halls themselves in Bratislava, Trnava, Žilina and Námestov with a total output of over 1.6 MWp.
All CTP properties are BREEAM in Use certified at 'very good' level and above. He has an inspiring project in CTPark in Bratislava, where he permanently placed beehives with half a million bees, which help preserve local biodiversity.
For a long time, CTP also uses captured rainwater and so-called gray water. One of the tools for reducing the carbon footprint is the creation of so-called balance.
The Slovak Council for Green Buildings (SKGBC) is the main ambassador of sustainable construction in Slovakia and brings together companies from various sectors of the economy. The common goal is to support market development and legislative changes towards sustainable construction, to create and implement professional dialogue.
